Saturday Snapshot: A Hopeful Sign

Found yesterday after a short thaw: a daffodil!

To participate in the Saturday Snapshot meme bloggers are asked to post a photo that
they (or a friend or family member) have taken, then leave a direct link to your post on the Saturday Snapshot site. Photos can be old or new, and be of any subject as long as they are clean and appropriate for all eyes to see. How much detail you give in the caption is entirely up to you. All she asks is that you don't post random photos that you find online.

Thanks to Alyce at At Home With Books for hosting!!

  1. Ha! How cute. We haven't had anything like that here yet, usually it's snowdrops sometime in late March.

  2. Funny, I haven't seen the crocuses yet, but found this little guy. It's back down under freezing today -- I hope it makes it!

  4. Daffodils are one of my favorite flowers; our's are totally confused and have been blooming for a week or so already!

  6. A hint of spring is wonderful, isn't it? I love the backdrop of leaves that really sets the bud apart.

  8. Thanks, everyone. I just read there's 3 inches of snow in the forecast -- but that's winter in Central Pennsylvania for you. You have to take hope whenever -- and wherever -- you find it!

  9. Yes!! Spring!! I'm going outside and search for some signs of life today. Our snow melted away yesterday in record warm temps. Now if the birds would start singing I'll be very happy.

  16. Yay!!! I'm glad you said what it was though ... I didn't see it for all those brown leaves at first. I hope I get to see one poking its head up soon! I'm done with winter!
